PS: Infatuation is not love. "The truth is the more intimately you know someone, the more clearly you'll see their flaws. This is why marriages fail, why children are abandoned, why friendships don't last. You might think you love someone until you see the way they act when they're out of money or under pressure or hungry. Love is something different. Love is choosing to be with someone and help them support them encourage them in spite of their filthy heart. Love is patient and kind, love is deliberate. It is seeing the darkness in another person, and defying the impulse to jump ship."

PS: You have to learn to say no without feeling guilty. Then you can concentrate on the things that are really important. Setting boundaries is healthy. You need to learn to respect and take care of yourself. Leave self-pity and low self-worth behind. Trust your faith has the power to turn trauma into healing, conflict into growth, and fear into love.
If I'm wrong. Educate me. Don't belittle me.

PS: Things will only get easier after you went through the hardest time.

Spent almost 2 weeks in Gent, Belgium, 10th to 22nd June.
I see that kind of life - for many traveling business persons, life is an endless swirl of flying to many locations to work. And at the same time spending some time to travel and wander around a city. It's having multiple flight experiences, in-flight movies and meals. It's hopping in and out of luxury cars, and staying in hotel without having to worry about what should be prepared for breakfast. It seems to be premiere.

I walked into a glamorous restaurant for dinner the night before I leave the city. I was served with a smart-looking local gentleman, offering some wines and the best choice of meals, trying to communicate with me as much as he could. It's a beautiful, peacefully quiet place and located slightly further away from the chaotic streets. With its 5 stars service, lovely ambiance and attractive plate presentation, it's easy to guess what's on the menu and how much does it cost for a meal. Those who dine in must be from the top class in the society, or probably someone likes me, walked into a place out of a strong sense of curiosity and next, tried to search for the best price of a meal on the menu.
Despite being served well and had great food, I looked out of the window and completely convinced that - I don't feel comfortable being here, alone. I should have walk on the chaotic street, get another Belgium waffles with tissue on the vacant hand to wipe away the chocolate mud on the month after every bite, and enjoy the view of old couples kissing like no one else is watching.

I'm more longing for... A place where me and my loves one could cook lunches and invite people over to my house for a little party. A journey with those who I would share all my street foods so that I wouldn't gain weight, alone. *evilly grinning eheeh*
I think I no longer looking forward to backpacking alone for a long period of time. Maybe I know that my bones no longer allows me to do so. Time... It changes a person's mind. Nothing lasts. :)

This beautiful restaurant... It will only be great when food is shared

It's a fancy place but it does not catch my heart

I'm picturing me and my loved one, by the riverside, under the moonlight, under the sunlight.
It will come true someday. :)

So here is the part 2 of the care-free days in Hua Hin.

Some places that I've been:
[Part 1]
Alpaca Hill, Suan Phung, Ratchaburi
Baan Hom Tien Candle-Making House, Ratchaburi
Suan Phung, Ratchaburi
[Part 2]
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Samut Songkhram
Santorini Park, Cha-Am
Mercado de Plearnwan (Vintage Village)
Surat Thani
- Khao Sok National Park, the Rachapahda Dam
- SiMana Farmstay for Oyster cultivation (You can really skip this unless you get a good tour guide)

[Air Asia had started its new route to Hua Hin last year around mid of 2018, there's an option for tourists to go by direct flight instead of landing at Bangkok and taking land transportation to reach Hua Hin.]

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Samut Songkhram

The one and only market that I've stopped by.

This is considered a wider path with more space to move... and occasionally there is a traffic jam.
Noticed there are traditional sampan and also modern sampan with the use of engine.
Surprisingly the elderly still follows the traditional way while younger one uses engine type.

Coconut ice cream is the best!
Also I have the best uncle so he tried his best to get all the food that we would like to try... I don't even have to request it. #familytimeisthebest

Thai Noodle

They said this is a must try... and I immediately agreed to it after the first bite.

My favourite!

Rice noodle soup
I didn't know this is one of the must-try food until my uncle suggested it.
It is really like some chee cheong fun (firmer one) in a bowl of tasty soup topped with some other foods. If I'm visiting Thailand again, this must be something in the to-eat list.

Santorini Park, Cha-Am

Santorini Park is an Amusement Park with attractive entrance fee of just 150 THB per person, offering exciting and interesting activities (2 games per person, you could pay an additional fee for more activities). The white buildings and blue rooftops make this place looks just like the real Santorini in Greece.
Santorini Park entrance fee & activities
I didn’t manage to try out other rides because of the hot weather and I'm with the wrong (unsuitable) outfit... I prefer to stroll around.

Ferris Wheel at Santorini Park

It will be an ideal place for a good walk

My favourite view of back. #dadandmom

Thanks mom. #myphotographer 💓

Mercado de Plearnwan (Vintage Village)

Hmm. How should I describe this place?
A dreamy spot for a person like me. Best to visit in the evening - sunset time, when the night approaches, you would want to stay for few more hours just to chill and relax, surrounded by all the colourful lighting and unique designs. There are varieties of food & snacks, souvenirs, you can do shopping here. Guess how much is the entrance fee?
ZERO!

Always feeling young with this group of cool kids.

The scenery along the journey...

Khao Sok National Park, the Rachapahda Dam

This is for the nature lover and I guess we have a lot more to explore at this place. Only a lunch time spent here with this good view.

SiMana Farmstay for Oyster cultivation
(You can really skip this unless you get a good tour guide)
But we got to try some good food and oysters.

Miang kham, dried shrimp and oyster and other ingredients wrapped in leaves

Oyster

Oyster cultivation site

I asked the Google about oyster farming...
The oysters are grown on ropes strung from the wooden poles, which results in grit and barnacle-free meat.
And how long does it take to grow an oyster?
Oysters typically grow up to an inch per year. This is dependent on salinity and the quality of the water column. In higher salinity areas, oyster will grow faster than in lower salinity areas.

What I feel amazing about Thailand is...
It is cleaner than before.
"R&R" are all well-maintained.
This is one of the huge one that I've been to...

This is another "R&R" comes along with a green and blue view.

And I need to share this with Jane because this is her favourite food
Thailand is famous for its crepe!

The best thing about this journey is the time spent with those people I love in life.

I already looking forward to the next one.
